Country Rental Index Summary

  • The gap between Northern Ireland all other countries has never been wider, although it looks like annual price changes are decreasing everywhere apart from Northern Ireland so this trend could soon be reversed since Northern Ireland has the highest monthly price change this month (0.46%).
  • Welsh rental prices look to be closing in on Scotland as the gap between the two continues to narrow. The average rental price for Wales is now £889 and for Scotland is £951.
  • England without London has the highest annual price change for the second month in a row with 5.96%, whilst Northern Ireland has the lowest annual price change of 5.15%.
